Finishes

Each diameter can be coated in one of four ways.  The plastic coated finishes are typically a thicker finish which has a softer feel when compared to powder coated metal handles.  The powder coated finish has a much higher gloss and more durable finish than the plastic coated metal handles.

Standard Plastic Coated Finish – A coating of Impact Co-polymer applied over the tube in thicknesses ranging from .010 to .045 thick.  The appearance is a flat, low gloss finish.  A variety of stock colors are available as well as custom colors.  The standard plastic coating can have profiles that are smooth or ribbed.

High Gloss Plastic Coated Finish – A thin layer of clarified polypropylene of .001 - .003” thick is applied over the standard plastic coating.  The appearance is a medium / high gloss finish.

Wood Grain Plastic Coated Finish – A technique is used to blend different resins and colors to approximate the look of wood.

Powder Coated Finish – A baked on powder paint that is a full gloss coating.  This is available in a variety of stock colors as well as custom or special formulations.  The appearance is very high gloss finish.  Special powder paint formulations can be applied for an alternative finish such as a texture, antiqued, or a hammered appearance.

Online labeling capabilities are available for customized labeling of the metal handles.



Packaging

The metal broom handles can be packaged a number of ways.  Typical packaging would be:

21 and 22mm – 24 or 25 per plastic bundle. 3,000 per pallet

15/16 and 1” – 12 per bundle.

In addition:  Metal handles can be custom packaged as listed below

                                Strip packed and banded 6 / strip

                                Boxed 12 per box
